Haiti 2010

Delaware Medical Relief Team is an all-volunteer group of Delaware doctors, nurses, medical staff and support personnel that deploys to areas suffering from natural disasters and states of emergency.

DMRT was formed in the immediate aftermath of the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12, 2010.

DMRT sent its first team to Haiti one week after the earthquake hit.  In the first five weeks after the disaster, DMRT already has sent four teams of medical relief workers to Haiti.

In Haiti, DMRT personnel have performed countless life-saving surgeries and limb-saving procedures, administered medications, and provided hope and comfort to the survivors.
